Reconsideration of Materials Procedure and Reconsideration Form
On November 14th, 2023, the board adopted the following procedure for the reconsideration of library materials (Found in Dodge City Public Library Service Policies Article VI: Reconsideration of Materials Procedure).

Resolution Against Book Bans
On November 15th, 2022 the Library Board of Directors voted to approve the Resolution Against Book Bans. The Resolution has been framed and hung in each circulating department of the Dodge City Public Library.
The Library Board of Trustees endorse the following statement:
Individuals should be trusted to make their own decisions about what they read and believe. Further, parents should not be making decisions for other parents’ children about what they read. We are united against book bans.
