Wine and Cheese 2024

Saddle up and mark your calendars! The Foundation’s esteemed Wine and Cheese fundraiser for 2024 has been scheduled for October 12th at 6:30pm. Our guest speaker is Keith Wondra, the Boot Hill Museum curator.

Annually, the Dodge City Public Library Foundation organizes a distinguished wine and cheese event, extending a cordial invitation to the community to procure tickets for attendance. This fundraiser exclusively allocates its proceeds to the enhancement of the public library. The event features a selection of fine wines, assorted cheeses, complemented by delectable crackers and other culinary delights. Moreover, guests are treated to an enlightening and engaging speaker, selected by the foundation. Your participation not only contributes to the advancement of our city’s public library but also promises a delightful and enriching experience.

Past endeavors sponsored by the Foundation include the installation of an outdoor return drop, a stage in the Children’s Department, revitalization of the StoryWalk at Spiers Park, chairs for the Teen Department, and sponsoring the Dolly Parton Imagination Library which provides books to approximately 800 local children monthly.
