Technical Services:

Our Technical Services Department handles all incoming materials and prepares them for use by our community. They enter items into our catalog and maintain catalog records so our customers can find the materials they seek. Inter Library Loan requests are also managed through this department. Kansas Heritage Center:

The Kansas Heritage Center moved to the library in 2019 and is also home to our research and reference department. We have a number of resources available covering topics of the History of Dodge City and Southwest Kansas, and more broadly the Old West. Public Services Staff:

Our Public Services staff can often be found serving our customer at one of our service desks, which are located on the main floor of the library, and on our Lower Level in the Children’s Area. Public Services Staff also plan programs and do outreach into our community along with other library staff.
